built this in 97,when i was going through my"ive got to find something smaller to put this engine into" phase.
got a stock melody from the breakers and decided the frame wasnt stronge enough to take the power!!!,that was going into
it.
enter one lambretta frame and grinder, and a few weeks later, new frame.
pain in the butt trying to make every thing fit especially putting the gear change into the headset, but not being one
to give up,it got done pretty quick.
engine is a 200 block with a shortened ts1 225 barrel and a motorbike piston.usual speck,amal electronic,uprated internals,wank
pm exhaust.
had this on the road for my usual 1 year.
it handled shit with it being so small, and hated corners.
still it was fun ,especialy car drivers when you passed them on the fast lane of the motorway.
85-90mph on a melody,never again thanks.
this now resides in my personal black museum(my garage)
